29 Jun 2021
Our team is what we value the most at Forty Two, so we have prepared for our readers a series of interviews with our top managers. Let’s start with our old-timers, head of the Marketing Department, Yana Sharlat. Since its inception, Yana has been with our company and we are indebted to her for millions of projects. Yana is a very creative and positive individual. She brightens every day in the office with her ringing laughter. We know that besides demonstrating excellent performance, Yana spends her free time designing beautiful jewelry.
We asked Yana several questions, so you can get to know her better.
Why did this type of work interest you, and how did you get started?
Y: I started my career path with graduation from Bar-Ilan University with a degree in ‘Internet Technologies (Web).’ I continued my studies at John Bryce Academy and took a course in Graphic Design. Not long after I finished my studies, I joined the Forty Two Group in 2015. My career began as a graphic designer, and then, with time, I became a Marketing Team Leader. My career directly connects to my interests, so I evolved within this company in accordance with what I love and appreciate the most. I enjoy the dynamic work process within the department, so I am never bored. I love exciting and engaging projects that allow me to express myself. I enjoy working with people, and therefore, I am incredibly content that we have such a diverse team. I appreciate the fact that my occupation involves both teamwork and working with cutting-edge technology.
Are you optimistic about the company’s future and your future with the company?
Y: I see that our company is on its way to grandeur success and development. I plan to continue my career with Forty Two digital marketing agency and grow together with the organization. Also, there is a space for future advancement within every department, and employees can become more and more professional every day. We have numerous courses and programs that allow our employees’ growth in the field of their expertise.
How do you have fun at work and beyond?
Y: I have introduced a dad joke function to Slack so that we can laugh together with our colleagues. My favorite dad joke is: “The Swiss must’ve been pretty confident in their chances of victory if they included a corkscrew in their army knife.” I know, it is brilliant. Speaking about the fun I have in my spare time, I prefer to spend my evenings at the seaside and watch the sunset. I enjoy having fun with my friends and traveling to the north of our beautiful country. Also, I design my own jewelry as I don’t trust others with this important task ;). I paint and enjoy gardening; it is very relaxing and fun.
