Magic Square is a first-to-market, community-vetted web3 app store allowing developers to list their dApps, and users to find and use community-vetted dApps. The fine-tuned ecosystem is powered by a strong community that can vet, rank, and prioritizes crypto apps, games, and CeDeFi utilizing a DAO mechanism. A straightforward earning metric fuels the ecosystem and rewards the engagement and participation of users and validators. 42 Studio built the UI/UX product design and created a customized website, along with business materials and marketing strategy. 42’s team worked diligently on campaigns that prompted community growth while building and maintaining the brand’s social community.

Investor Funding

42 took Magic Square from zero to hero, and after only six months of working with the Studio, Magic Square was able to secure $3 million in seed funding and a $30 million evaluation from the industry’s biggest backers, including Binance Labs, Republic Capital, Kucoin Labs, Gate.io, Crypto.com, Huobi Ventures, IQ Protocol, GSR, Gravity Ventures, DAOMaker.   The list of investors and partners keeps growing to this day as Magic Square moves ahead with new stages of product development and implementation.

We designed banners, posts, and created the brand’s visual representation on social media. We strategized content with real-time brand objectives and campaigns, posting announcements, informative pieces, quizzes, contests, polls, and featured AMAs, partnerships, announced and ran campaigns, and much more. All of this combined created an environment for community interactions and member acquisitions, rapidly growing the community.

The 42 team built Magic Square’s website from scratch. Despite the dynamic nature of the project, along with tight deadlines, the Studio was able to bring forth the final version of the multi-page website. The web pages represent all products and their utilities while allowing visitors to comprehend the full potential and value of the decentralized space through Magic Square’s solutions.

The content team also created and managed the Magic Square Blog, writing and publishing 50+ articles, which cover a wide range of topics from crypto, dApps, blockchain, and NFTs to product-related topics such as feature explainers and value proposition pieces. Additionally, original articles were crafted and published on Magic Square’s Medium blog with the idea of showcasing their features and further project development.

Using the litepaper and whitepaper as a reference, 42’s content team also handled the creation of the elaborate, reader-friendly knowledge base. We balanced out the technical nature of the whitepaper with the value-preposition-oriented litepaper and created a useful database for potential ecosystem users and dApp developers.
